Preliminary 2026-27 budget lowers general fund to $2.45 million
What happened
On June 9, 2026 the board approved a preliminary 2026-27 budget with a general fund of $2,450,000, down from the $2,750,000 appropriated for 2025-26. The agenda had listed $2,750,000 and the board amended it. In May the board also approved a salary schedule with a 1 percent raise for all staff.

The general fund pays for teachers, staff and daily operations in a district with fewer than 100 students.
