Phones and school technology
Personal internet-enabled devices are restricted throughout the school day, with approved exceptions. K–2 students use shared devices; families of students in grades 3–5 may opt to leave assigned Chromebooks at school.
Student data and AI
The board updated its student-data privacy policy in August 2026. In November 2025 the curriculum committee reported SchoolAI use with students by trained teachers and staff access to selected AI tools; current district technology guidance says separate generative AI guidance is under development.
