Livonia campus no longer coded as a regular school

What happened
On August 11, 2026, the board voted to change the Livonia building's state code from a traditional school to an 'ancillary learning facility'. Earlier in 2026, staff had talked about possible changes to how Livonia runs, plus a career-tech agreement with Wayne-Westland schools.
Why it matters to families
Livonia students and families may see changes in how the site is run and reported to the state. The minutes do not say whether students there will be served differently.
The evidence
August 11, 2026 approved minutes record the unanimous vote to 'reclassify Blended Learning Academies - Livonia (School Code 03999) to an Ancillary Learning Facility'. March 10 minutes note 'potential operational adjustments for 2026-27' at Livonia.
