What happened

Policy 08.2323, amended June 24, 2026 under Order 216, requires maintained procedures for safe, secure and responsible AI and generative-AI use, regular review, privacy and ethical safeguards, and appropriate-use guidance distinguishing inspiration from cheating or plagiarism. It also governs traceable communications and district technology. It does not establish deployment of a particular AI product.
