Board puts a mill levy override extension on the Nov. 3 ballot

What happened
On August 10 the board voted 5-0 to call a November 3, 2026 election on a mill levy override extension. Board members have since helped promote it.
Why it matters to families
A mill levy override is a local property tax the district uses on top of state funding. If voters do not extend it, the district would lose that money.
