What happened
Policy 08.2323, amended July 16, 2026 under order 6782, requires safe, secure and responsible-use procedures for AI, AI-enhanced and generative-AI tools, including student safety, data privacy, ethical practice and appropriate versus inappropriate use. It also requires approved traceable staff-student communications. The current policy establishes procedural requirements, not proof of AI deployment or completed implementation.
