New high school building on track for a December 2026 move-in
What happened
The owner's representative told the board on September 14, 2026 that the new high school building has first-floor drywall and finishes under way and the second floor slightly behind, the middle/high school remodel and old building work are complete, and the commons and ag lab additions are being framed. Students are expected to move in during winter break. In May the project was reported as under budget, with $1.2-1.3 million each in contract and owner contingency.
