What happened

In fall 2026 the board worked through several policies in readings: JKA and JKA-R on physical intervention and restraint, forms JKA-E-1 and JKA-E-2 for incident reports and complaints, JLCB and JLCB-R on student immunization, and JLF on reporting child abuse. They were discussed August 18, read the first time September 1 and were on the October 6 consent list for a second reading.

Why it matters to families

These rules decide when staff may physically restrain a student, what parents are told, and how vaccine records are handled.

The evidence

The August 18 work session, September 1 and October 6 agendas list each policy; the policy text is attached to the packets.
