What happened

The district presented a K-3 pathway using universal iReady screening, follow-up diagnostics, structured-literacy intervention, progress monitoring, and family communication. The guide says MTSS must not delay a disability referral.

Why it matters to families

The pathway describes how families and schools may identify reading risk, provide intervention, monitor progress, and pursue evaluation for younger students.

The evidence

The October 15 meeting materials include the full early-literacy/dyslexia pathway and family guide. The action page lists them under reports and does not record a separate adoption vote.
