Board adopts policies on immigration agents at schools
What happened
On February 23, 2026 the board voted 5-0 to adopt three policies on schools and law enforcement: KLG (relations with law enforcement and state agencies), KLG-R (federal immigration officials) and KLG-E (response to ICE or other federal agents). Revisions on warrants, masks and badges were to follow.
