Phones and smartwatches must be off during class

What happened

The 2026-27 handbook says phones must be turned off and kept out of sight in bags during class unless a teacher and principal allow them. Smartwatches and AI glasses must also be off. Penalties rise from a warning to losing the phone until the end of the school year.
