What happened
Records trace the district police operation from the October 2025 introduction of its chief through vehicle and equipment grant actions; September officials reported five of seven positions filled.
Why it matters to families
The change expands a districtwide operational safety service and carries staffing and equipment implications. The reviewed record does not document a material threat or incident tied to the expansion.
The evidence
October records introduce the police-force lead; February, July and September actions cover cruiser and equipment grant commitments. September reporting states the five-of-seven staffing level. Final recurring cost and full staffing are not established.
