What happened
The electronic-media policy amended July 13 requires regularly reviewed procedures for safe, secure and responsible use of AI and other emerging technologies.
Why it matters to families
The policy directs districtwide safeguards for student safety, data privacy and ethics and distinguishes appropriate inspiration from cheating or plagiarism. It does not identify an approved AI tool or document a classroom outcome.
