What happened

The new school is planned around enrollment of 525 students. So each grade will have three classes. Right now the district has 554 students. It is cutting jobs over time by not replacing teachers who leave. Warsaw's 8th grade is moving to three-teacher teams, with English and social studies joined into one humanities class.

Why it matters to families

Classes and teaching teams are changing before the new school opens. Some teachers may move to a different grade.
