What happened

On Aug. 18, 2026, after a required public hearing, the board adopted a project resolution, a preliminary bond resolution and a reimbursement resolution. The project covers renovation and improvements to buildings across the corporation, including safety, security and site work, and buying equipment, technology, vehicles and buses. Indiana requires the hearing when a building project costs more than $1 million.

Why it matters to families

Bonds are repaid from property taxes over many years. The minutes say the board heard the project cost, schedule and tax-rate impact, but the posted minutes do not give the dollar amounts.

The evidence

Aug. 18, 2026 project hearing minutes: the board adopted the Project Resolution 'to complete the Project at a cost of more than one million dollars per building', then the preliminary bond resolution and the reimbursement resolution.
