2026-27 plan spends about $500,000 more than projected revenue
What happened
The 2026-27 LCAP budget overview projects $2,823,431 in revenue and $3,330,121 in planned spending. The board adopted the budget and its reserves on June 11, 2026. The second interim report for 2025-26 had a positive certification, meaning the district expects to meet its obligations. The overview does not say how much of the gap is one-time construction spending.
