What the official record establishes

9 Board meetings and 2 current policies reviewed

A five-member elected Board controls the district budget, staffing, facilities and districtwide policy. Seven separately scheduled school-based councils handle school-level decisions, but their proceedings were not available in the reviewed official repositories.

Facilities activity spans several projects

The central-office/bus-garage project continued after the Board began using the new office, while bleacher projects affected Fordsville, Ohio County Middle, Southern and Western.

Budget approvals lack a published per-pupil measure

Minutes record a tentative FY2027 budget and the adopted local property-tax rate, but do not separate annual local, state SEEK and federal funding shares, state total expenditures or provide a current expenditure-per-pupil figure.

Current technology rules combine broad and local restrictions

The AI policy requires district procedures; the phone policy allows narrow instructional exceptions but also contains stricter building-day, messaging and Internet prohibitions.

Minutes are absent for referenced January and June meetings and for September. Council schedules and notices do not establish that meetings occurred or what councils decided.

  2. Board held its first meeting in the new central office and approved further project invoices, payment 16 and change orders 23-25.

  4. Board approved payment 22, a BG-4 and change orders 30-32.

Funding
