Financial

What happened

The board approved the 2026-27 budget on June 22, 2026. State funding is expected to be about $3.86 million (about $23,109 per student, 165.5 funded students). The general fund mill levy rises from 23.931 to 24.931 mills, and the district will use $243,892 of its activity fund balance for student travel.

Why it matters to families

The total levy goes from 30.126 to 31.126 mills, which changes what local property owners pay. The general fund still ends the year with about $3.0 million.

The evidence

The proposed budget book lists the assumptions, the mill levy table and the beginning fund balance resolution. June 22 minutes record the 5-0 votes to approve the budget, appropriations and fund balance use.
