November trustee election cancelled; all six candidates unopposed
What happened
On August 24, 2026 the board cancelled the November 3 trustee election because every candidate was unopposed. Six people were declared elected: Sherrie Raughton and Summer Reel (2-year terms), and Mary Medford, James Harrell, Dana Pendergraft and Jerry Scheets (4-year terms).
Why it matters to families
Voters will not get a choice this year. Mary Medford is new to the board; trustee Keith Medford is not on the list.
