Schools prepare to open with new grade bands

What happened

A July 21 update says Appleby will serve TK–2, Ruth Brown grades 3–5 and Margaret White grades 6–8. Most materials had moved; final busing and staffing work remained. The district later said the new setup opened in fall 2026.

Why it matters to families

The change moves many students to a different campus and changes their school routines. Middle-school students will have new classes and schedules.
