Custodial work contracted out in split vote
What happened
The board voted 5-3 to contract with City Wide Facility Solutions of Omaha to provide custodial services, with Gradoville, Shuey and Timm voting no. Earlier the district had released its custodial supervisor.
Why it matters to families
Outside contractors, not district employees, will clean the schools.
