What happened

The board approved three 4% agreements retroactive to July 1: approximately $13.3 million for RCTA, $6.1 million for CSEA and $2.3 million for management, cabinet, supervisory and confidential employees.

Why it matters to families

The combined ongoing cost matters for future staffing and program choices. It is not a separate confirmed superintendent-contract increase.

The evidence

Staff presented the agreements as roughly $13.3 million for RCTA, $6.1 million for CSEA and $2.3 million for management and related employee groups. Finance staff said they had modeled three-year solvency; the October action is an ongoing compensation commitment, not a one-time construction expenditure.
