Bus garage replacement: $68,000 design contract and new facilities committee
What happened
The district's bus garage was damaged in late 2025. In January a contractor estimated a replacement of the same size at about $1.9 million, with insurance covering part. On October 27, 2026 the board accepted EMC's $68,000 bid for architectural concept design and set up a facilities committee of up to nine members plus one board member.
