Board to consider assistant principal appointment at Dougherty Valley High

What happened

The October 13 agenda lists an appointment of an assistant principal at Dougherty Valley High for consideration in closed session. The agenda does not identify the candidate or establish whether the appointment was approved.

Why it matters to families

An assistant-principal appointment would change school leadership at Dougherty Valley High, but the public agenda provides no nominee or outcome, so this remains a proposed action.

The evidence

Agenda item 4.1(a) is titled “Public Employee Appointment” and specifies “Assistant Principal, Dougherty Valley High.” Item 7 is “Report of Actions Taken in Closed Session,” but this agenda contains no report of the result.
