Board adopts the 2026-27 budget and appropriations

What happened

On June 22, 2026 the board approved action items to adopt the 2026-27 budget and the 2026-27 appropriations resolution. It first saw a proposed budget on May 18. On January 26 it approved a revised 2025-26 budget (option C) and revised appropriations. On April 27 it approved 2026-27 salary schedules (certified schedule option D) and chose Gravie as health insurance provider, with the district paying $899.46 a month toward each employee's premium.

Why it matters to families

The budget sets how much is spent on teachers, buses, buildings and programs for the whole year. Pay and insurance are usually the largest costs in a small district. The dollar totals are not in the collected minutes or agendas.
