What happened

The board read a cell phone policy three times: first reading April 27, second reading May 18, and final reading June 22, 2026. The minutes say the board approved the Cell Phone Policy on June 22. The topic also came up at the January 19 retreat and in January and February discussions.

Why it matters to families

Phone rules change the school day for every student and family. The collected documents do not print the policy text, so the exact rules (when phones may be used, penalties) are not shown here.

The evidence

June 22, 2026 minutes list 'Approve Cell Phone Policy' among the action items the board approved. April 27 and May 18 agendas list 'Cell Phone Policy - 1st Reading' and '2nd Reading'. The policy text itself was not in the collected files.
