E-learning days approved for weather and emergencies
What happened
On June 29, 2026, after a public hearing, the board approved an e-learning plan for 2026-27. On a bad-weather or emergency day, students can learn remotely instead of missing school. In January 2026, the board had to add April 6 as a makeup day for an emergency day used on December 5, 2025.
Why it matters to families
Families may have remote-learning days at home instead of snow days that are made up later.
