Board adopts FY27 budget and new three-year teacher contract
What happened
On September 23, 2026, the board adopted the FY2027 budget and approved the FY27-29 teacher contract. In the budget, the main Educational Fund spends about $3.45 million and takes in about $3.36 million, so it runs about $83,000 short. It starts the year with about $3.23 million saved. Most support staff also got a $1.00-per-hour raise.
