What happened

The district reports that voters approved Ballot Issue 4A in November 2026. It raises property taxes to bring in about $5.9 million a year starting in tax year 2027.

Why it matters to families

Most of the money, $4.5 million, is for staff pay. $1 million adds about eight academic positions and $400,000 grows career and technical classes. A home worth $500,000 pays about $54.50 more a year.

The evidence

The district's 4A results page lists the $5.9 million, the three uses, and the home-cost estimates. The board's Oct. 8, 2026 recording shows it adopted a resolution supporting 4A. Official certified results are not in the collected records.
