Who makes decisions for TVCA?

Since July 1, 2026, a network board (ACSI) governs TVCA and four other classical charter schools

TVCA is a K-12 public charter school in Fruitland, authorized by the Idaho Public Charter School Commission. Its own nonprofit board governed it until June 2026, when the board voted to dissolve TVCA, Inc. and convert the school into TVCA LLC under American Classical Schools of Idaho. ACSI's seven-member board also oversees Idaho Novus, North Idaho, Valor and Riverton classical academies. ACSI's CEO, Mr. Lambert, was TVCA's executive director, and Mrs. Marshall is TVCA's head of school.

Network board

ACSI meets on the last Wednesday of each month, often in Boise or by Zoom. TVCA hosted the July 29, 2026 meeting.

Finances under strain

After building its upper school, TVCA fell below its targets for days of cash and debt coverage and is fundraising about $496,000.

Enrollment drives revenue

TVCA opened 2026-27 with 604 students against a 614-student budget.

The board reports that operations are funded and that donors have given or pledged more than $260,000 since January 2026. The charter commission's 2024-25 performance report was described as strong except for two debt ratios.
