District renewed a $1 million line of credit
What happened
On June 23, 2026 the board renewed the district's line of credit with DLP Bank. The agreement sets a $1,000,000 credit limit from July 9, 2026 to July 9, 2027. In February board members discussed borrowing on it to close out 2025-26. Ms. Johnson opposed using it.
Why it matters to families
Borrowing lets the district pay bills while revenue is short, but it adds interest and has to be repaid.
