Second high school, Warren Ranch, is under construction for a 2028 opening
What happened
On Nov. 13, 2025, the board approved Stewart Builders' guaranteed maximum price for Warren Ranch High School, the district's second high school, paid for by the 2024 bond. Staff said the price came in under the bond budget. The school's mascot will be the Brahmas, and staff said in September 2026 that it is on schedule to open in 2028.
Why it matters to families
Waller High School is expected to hold about 3,480 students in 2026-27. A second high school will split the district's high schoolers between two campuses.
