Board to replace superintendent's contract again
What happened
On October 22, 2026, the board was set to approve an agreement ending and replacing Superintendent Michael Denault's employment contract, and to approve a new contract. In April 2026 the board had given him a five-year contract running to June 30, 2031.
Why it matters to families
The superintendent runs the district day to day. Replacing a contract only six months after a five-year deal could change his pay, length of service or duties. The new terms were not posted.
The evidence
The October 22, 2026 agenda lists 'Approve Agreement Terminating and Superseding Superintendent Employment Contract' and 'Approve a contract for the District Superintendent.' The April 23, 2026 minutes record the five-year agreement. October minutes are not posted yet.
