The Children's Way Preschool to Relocate to Happy Hollow Elementary for Fall 2026
What happened
As part of the long-term facilities plan, The Children's Way preschool program will move from the Town Building to Happy Hollow Elementary School starting fall 2026, citing available space due to lower enrollment and benefits including greater access to specialists and curriculum support.
Why it matters to families
This is a family-facing operational change affecting preschool logistics (location, drop-off/pick-up, playground) for current and prospective families, and reflects a shift in facility usage across the district.
The evidence
Minutes state: 'The Children's Way (TCW) will relocate to Happy Hollow for the fall of 2026 and become a part of the school community' due to lower-than-anticipated enrollment at Happy Hollow.
