District buys the church next door for choir and robotics
What happened
In February 2026, the district bought the Methodist Church property next to the school. Back in October 2025 it had offered $350,000 with $100,000 down. The building will be used for choir and robotics after the steeple is removed. Renovations are expected to cost $70,000 to $100,000 from the capital projects fund.

This gives music and robotics students new space. It also adds a building the district must pay to fix up and maintain.
