District news
New student handbooks for all schools

What happened
On August 10, 2026 the board approved new 2026-27 handbooks for all five schools, built on a shared districtwide template. The handbooks keep the superintendent's decision on short suspensions (10 days or less) as final, and add a new rule that work be completed before a planned absence.
Why it matters to families
Handbooks set daily rules on attendance, discipline, devices and conduct. Families cannot appeal a short suspension to the board.
