2026-27 budget draws about $136,000 from savings
What happened
The general fund budget adopted June 8, 2026 plans $6.31 million in spending against $6.18 million in revenue for 2026-27. The projected fund balance drops from about $1.21 million to $1.07 million.
Why it matters to families
Spending more than it takes in shrinks the district's cushion for emergencies. State aid, which pays for most of the budget, is projected to fall about $150,000.
