Board adopts revised K–12 math standards

What happened
The Board unanimously approved revised K–12 math standards on June 18. Earlier committee records describe updates to elementary measurement, data and money concepts and to middle and high school math content.
Why it matters to families
The standards guide what students learn in math. The approval motion does not establish the rollout date, and the reviewed records do not require every school to use one textbook.
The evidence
June 18 general business minutes record unanimous full-Board approval. This is the adoption decision; the May committee recommendation alone was not final Board adoption.
