Idaho Board captions attribute adoption of 2026 science standards
What happened
The official October 15 meeting captions attribute a Board vote adopting the 2026 Idaho Science Content Standards as written from the 2022 standards, with the next review directed for fiscal year 2029. This remains a caption-attributed outcome because October minutes were not in the reviewed source set.
Why it matters to families
The standards guide statewide K–12 science instruction. The captions also attribute removal of one flagged science assessment item from the operational pool; no broader assessment change is inferred.
The evidence
Stored official meeting captions reviewed through approximately 03:43. The transcript is auto-generated and may misstate speaker labels or exact wording; consult future official minutes for confirmation.
