$2.84 million high school renovation contract awarded
What happened
On March 26, 2026 the board hired Cheever Construction to renovate the high school for $2,844,500. The work covers new heating and cooling, gym rooftop units, ceilings, doors and hardware, plus fire-code updates.
Why it matters to families
The high school building is from 1966. This project keeps it usable while the district plans its future buildings. More work (secure entries, an elevator, science labs, windows) is planned for 2027.
