What happened

On August 26, 2026 the board voted 6-0 to put a bond of up to $35 million on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The money would build a new PreK-8 school on district land in Tecumseh. The high school would stay in its current building.

Why it matters to families

This vote decides whether the district builds one new PreK-8 school or keeps running old buildings in two towns. The bond would be paid by a property tax levy for about 25 years.
