Millburn High School fills both vice-principal seats
What happened
The board hired Jacqueline Bartlett (previously an Assistant/Acting Principal in Berkeley Heights) and promoted Christopher Drechsel (Millburn High School's Athletic Director) into the school's two vice-principal seats, both at $142,745/year, after the principal screened 142 applicants.
Why it matters to families
This fills both of the high school's vice-principal positions, which had been vacant or filled on an interim basis, rounding out the building's top leadership team under its new principal.
The evidence
The Superintendent's Report at the February 9, 2026 meeting states the principal "personally paper-screened 142 applicants" and recommends Christopher Drechsel and Jacqueline Bartlett, "currently an Assistant Principal in Berkeley Heights, where she has also served as Acting Principal," for the two vice-principal roles.
