District news
Board will record and post its meetings
What happened
On Aug. 26, 2026, after parents asked for recordings so families who cannot attend can follow along, the board voted to record its meetings and post them on the district website. An amendment to delay and keep minutes as the only record failed. Recordings are posted unedited on the district YouTube channel, and minutes remain the official record.
Why it matters to families
Residents can now watch board discussions, not just read summaries.
The evidence
Aug. 26, 2026 minutes: 'A motion was made to approve recording and posting Board meetings on our website ... Passed All in favor'; the amendment 'Failed'.
