New leaders at Floyd Central High
What happened
The board hired William Eihusen as principal of Floyd Central High School, replacing Scott Hatton, and in June named Matthew Brown athletic director. In July it reorganized the school's leadership, promoting Kelly Payne to associate principal (5-2) and hiring J.T. Cox as assistant principal. Public speakers raised the principal change; the minutes give no reason for it.
