What happened

The superintendent reported on June 24, 2026 that summer projects were on schedule, including removing all asbestos tiles from high school classrooms and putting in new tile. Other work included repairing the high school's outer wall coating, a new pre-K playground, more parking, and new doors at both buildings.

Why it matters to families

Old asbestos tile can be a health risk if it is damaged. Removing it changes the high school's classrooms, and the other projects affect building safety and access.
