District news
2026-27 budget spends about $307,000 more than it takes in

What happened
The FY27 budget, adopted September 23, 2026, plans $8.68 million in operating revenue and $8.99 million in operating spending. The building fund is about $506,000 short and the transportation fund about $223,000 short, partly offset by an education fund surplus of about $371,000.
Why it matters to families
The district will dip into savings this year. Its operating funds are still expected to hold about $7.48 million at the end of June 2027, so the state does not require a plan to fix the gap.
