Two Davisville Middle School staff placed on leave; outside investigator appointed

What happened

At a special meeting on November 24, 2025 the School Committee unanimously voted to appoint an investigator to look into two complaints involving certified employees. During public comment two residents said two Davisville Middle School staff members had been abruptly placed on administrative leave and asked the committee to keep classrooms stable for students. The substance of the complaints was discussed in closed session and is not public.

Why it matters to families

When teachers are pulled out of classrooms mid-year, students lose the adults they know, and families are usually told very little about why.
