What happened

On Sept. 22, 2026, during the public hearing on an additional appropriation, the board voted 4-0 for the additional appropriation resolution and the final bond resolution. On Oct. 20 it approved accepting a good-faith deposit with First Financial Bank and using bond proceeds to reimburse listed expenditures.

Why it matters to families

This is the step that lets the corporation borrow for the building project it started in August. The debt is repaid from the debt service property tax levy.

The evidence

Sept. 22, 2026 minutes: 'The Final Bond Resolution was presented. A motion was made by Joan Hathaway and seconded by John Bean to approve the resolution. The motion carried 4-0.'
