PCA beat local district averages on 2025-26 Milestones tests

What happened

In August 2026 the principal told the board PCA students scored above the average of the traditional public districts in the 7 counties it serves on the 2025-26 Georgia Milestones tests. The superintendent predicted PCA will meet the state commission's content mastery standard. English scores come later because of a test change.

Why it matters to families

Families can compare how the charter school does against the local districts.

The evidence

The August 17, 2026 board minutes say "Overall PCA students performed above the 7-county traditional public school averages" and that "ELA scores will not be returned until later in the year due to a change in standards/assessment." No score tables were in the public minutes.
