Board starts planning to close the central office and weigh selling the building

What happened
On September 21, 2026 the board voted to let administrators plan a move of central office work to a mostly remote and school-based model. The plan includes looking at selling the current central office property. Any sale still needs a final board vote.
Why it matters to families
A sale would change where families and the public go for business with the school and could bring in money. The board must vote again before any property is sold.
The evidence
The September 21, 2026 board minutes record J. Earp's motion "to authorize administration to proceed with planning for the transition of Central Office operations to a primarily remote and school-based model, including evaluation of the sale of the current Central Office property, subject to all applicable legal requirements and final Board approval of any property disposition." It passed unanimously.
